A -- SAFETY EVALUATION OF UV-ACTIVATED FLUORESCENT DELINEATION TREATMENTS SOL RFP No., DTFH61-95-R-00093 DUE 042395 POC Contact Mr. Jeffrey Thomas, HCP-30-A, (202) 366-4226 A - The objective of this requirement is to determine whether and under what conditions drive performance can be improve through the use of candidate flourescent traffic control devices and auxiliary UV-headlighting. Safety and cost/benefit analyses will also be conducted to determine if UV/fluorescent technology may offer an economic means of increasing highway safety. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FHWA. To receive a copy of the solicitation submit a written request to the address indicated above. To expedite the request, please furnish two self-addressed gummed labels for each solicitation requested. The solicitation number should appear on the bottom edge of the labels. The due date listed in block 10 is only and estimated due date, the actual due date will depend upon the exact date the solicitation is issued.
