Line item 0001 is for the accomplishment of Talk 1 and line item 0004 is for the accomplishement of task 0004. The purpose of the solicitation will be to purchase a study which addressed the identification and availability of aircraft fall protection equipment as described in the statement of work (aircraft fall protection safety engineering analysis report and implementaion plan). The requested study will be accomplished in two (2) tasks. The first task will identify various options in accomplishing fall protection. Upon government acceptance of the specific option, the contractor will accomplish task 2. Statement of Work Scope: This statemento of Work established the requirements for the contracor to evaluate personnel fall protection for on-aircraft maintenance and provide the government a Safety Engineering Analysis Reprot which identifies solutions for adequate fall protection for all aircraft and helicopters serviced at four operational sites at the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center, Davis-monthan AFB, AZ. The solutions must comply with the 29 Code of Federal Regulation 1910 and 29, CFR 1926 and Air Force occupational Safety and health (AFOSH) 127-22 requirements. The government will evaluate the solutions in the SER, make selections, and subsequently, at the government's option, task the contractor to develop a complete implementation plan, including deliverable plans for any or all of the selections. The purpose of this effort is to establish and evaluate fall protection alternatives, identify the optimal solutins and provide a plan that can be used for implementation, including acquisition, design and/or fabrication as appropriate. The plan will be used to obtain the requiredequipment and materials and/or install/erect adequate fall protection at each operational site for aircraft that require maintenance or other work on aircraft above 10 feet. Contractor Qualification. The contractor as a minimum shall have as the lead contract representative a Certified Professional Engineer in Safety or a Certified Safety Professional in Engineering, Systems or construction. This individual shall oversee the accomplishment of the analysis and have approval and signature responsibility for the deliverable reports. Item 0002 data, 1 lot Item 0003 17.
