REQUEST FOR JOINT VENTURE PARTNER - The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) is searching for one or more joint venture partners with worldwide capabilities that can utilize the NTIS electronic document and form distribution system it has developed. NTIS envisions in the not too distant future documents will be orderable electronically through the NTIS FedWorld (Registered Trademark) system or through the NTIS sales desk and routed in native or print-queue form in original quality for reproduction on demand at remote locations selected by the customer. NTIS is searching for one or more joint venture partners to perform local fulfillment of these electronically routed document requests (FAX processing is not an acceptable option). Under the terms of the joint venture, NTIS and joint venture partners will fulfill customer initiated requests to selectively deliver electronically and reproduce NTIS documents transmitted and share revenues for agreed upon portions of the transaction. The venture partner or partners will need to demonstrate a worldwide electronic document network capability and the ability to process electronic documents on demand delivered to locations according to customer requirements.
