Stabilize Beams & Piers, Building 375 (Hangar) has changed to F41650-95-B-0404. The work required to be performed by the contractor consists but is not limited to the following: injecting an aqueous potassium chemical mixture through permanent sleeve-port injection pipes, at selected piers. Temporarily relocate portable, permanent, and semi- permanent buildings located inside the hangar, near the areas to be stabilized, and moved back to their original locations including utilities after the chemical stabilization process is complete. Conduct soil sampling analysis of excavated soil to identify disposal requirements. Chemical stabilization of masonry wall footings in the cafeteria area consists of treating the soil by introduction of a chemical mixture into the clay soils by pressure injection. Any equipment that must be moved to allow room for the chemical stabilization process shall be moved by the contractor including any temporary utility disconnections and shall move the equipment back to its original location including reconnecting any utilities that were disconnected. Conduct soil sampling analysis of excavated soil to identify disposal requirements. Prior to the treatment, and again three to six months following 100% completion of the pier treatment, the contractor shall run an elevation control survey on the columns in the high bay area of the building. Performance period is 365 days 1 Job Lump Sum. The magnitude of the proposed project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Tentative date of issue is 7 APR 95 with a tentative opening date of 8 MAY 95. The proposed acquisition listed here is 100 Percent Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. This acquisition was previously synopsized AUG 94. Business concerns (SDB) who previously requested specifications and drawings need not submit another request; Solicitation packages will be issued from original bid request list.
