The Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Joint Interoperability and Engineering Organization (JIEO) Center for Standards is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and capabilities of commercial off-the-shelf advanced bandwidth manager/multiplexer equipment and technology. Industry organizations interested in contributing information (product descriptions, brochures, etc.) to this survey are requested to respond to Mr. Andy Pappas or Mr. Robert Knapp by 24 March 1995 at DISA/JIEO Center for Standards, ATTN: TBBC, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5613. Information submitted will be used in a study to identify options for developing a short-term multiplexer standard for super high frequency tri-band satellite communications terminals. These options should provide the capability to make existing military and commercial multiplexer formats interoperable with existing Ground Mobile Forces and Defense Information Systems Network terminals. All information provided by industry shall be nonproprietary and at no cost to the government. All organizations participating in this effort must do so at their own expense. This announcement will not obligate DISA/JIEO Center for Standards or any other government organizations to reimburse any participant's expenses.
