Forces Command Central Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to Information Builders Inc., 1700 North Moore Street, Suite 1100, Arlington, Virginia 22209 for the following middleware components for HP 9000/I40 and desktop 486s: EDA/Link (304 user), FOCUS Professional (1 ea.), Full FOCUS Network Client (5 ea.), Business Intelligence Suite (5 ea.), and FOCUS Reporter (10 ea.). This software will be used to support the Command Data Base (CDB( at Headquarters FORSCOM. Support of the CDB requires a Structured Query Language (SWL), compliant Relational Data Base Management Software (RDBMS), an active data dictionary, interactive software tools, and an ad hoc query and reporting facility. The products provided must support the current environment to include Zenith Data Systems Desktop IV workstations, Novell Netware 4.2, HP 90000/I40, HP/UNIX 9.04, COBOL/HP-UX 6.32, CA-DATACOM/UNIX (RDBMS) 1.0 (SQL based), CA-IDEAL/UNIX (Software devl 4GL) 1.0, MS-DOS 6.2, MS-WINDOWS Workgroups 3.11, FRONTIER 4.0 and CHAMELEON 4.007 (TCPIP).
