The Library of Congress intends to negotiate with Oracle Hungary Kft. for a software upgrade from the VINES version of ORACLE to the HP-UX version for the National Assembly of Hungary. Upgrades are required to proprietary software previouly purchased and require a credit to be issued for the previously purchased software for the VINES version. Requirements are for software for the HP server for 32 concurrent users including Oracle 7 RDBMS, SQL *Net TCP/IP and software for the client side for 32 concurrent users including Oracle CDE Tools Bundle Kit - Runtime License. Training for Oracles 7's new features comparing with V6 will also be provided. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. No contract award will be made on the basis of an offer/proposal received in response to this notice. Interested parties that can provide ALL software, licenses, credit for previously purchased software and licenses, installation, warranty, maintenance, and training may contact the Contracting Officer no later than 15 calendar days from the date of this announcement.
