US POSTAL SERVICE OWNED AND LEASED FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF

Multiple contracts may be issued under this advertisement. Each of the
contracts for architect-engineer services, with a $5,000 guaranteed
amount, will be for two years with individual work orders being issued
for design, document preparation & contract administration on
individual projects. Project types to include repairs, alteration, and
painting of existing facilities and the site adaptation of USPS CADD
based plans. Work Orders typically do not exceed $100,000 in fees. The
contract may be renewed for three one-year periods. Total contract
cannot exceed $2,500,000. This contract is to cover the Mississippi
State Area, however, it may be used in other areas and occasionally
within other areas of the Southeastern United States. Firms that
possess the qualifications to perform the services described above are
inivited to submit two (2) copies each of completed SF255
``Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific
Project'', SF254 ``Architect-Engineer and Related Services
Questionnaire'' for itself and SF254 for each of its proposed
consultants to the office shown above, postmarked no later than March
30, 1995. The selection will be conducted with the combined use of the
submitted SF255 and SF254s. Interested firms with more than one office
must indicate on its SF255 the staffing composition of the office in
which the work will be performed. Firms must have identified more than
one Architect licensed and with legal responsibility/liability to
carry on the work of the firm should the Architect of record no longer
be able to do so; have a minimum of two years Autocadd experience, and
must be able to provide the service of at least one of each to the
following disciplines (each registered in Florida): mechanical,
electrical, structural and civil engineering. Any of the above
engineering disciplines may be provided through outside consultant
firms. Consideration will be given to firms responding to this
advertisement in accordance with foregoing instruction in the following
order of preference: (1) State of Mississippi, (2) Out of State. There
is no restriction on the geographical location of consultants. Firms
must provide proof of or demonstrate the ability to obtain errors and
omissions insurance, minimum of $200,000 per claim, with submittals
(two copies). Participation of minority business enterprises is a
consideration in U.S. Postal Service architect-engineer selections. It
is prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage, or brokerage fee
to any person or firm contingent upon, or resulting from, award of this
contract. No other general notification of this project will be made.
Submittals will not be retained or returned. This is not a request for
