Project is located on the Burns Ranger District and consists of three items: Item 1, Precommercial Thinning 309 acres; Item 2, Dieased & Damaged Tree Felling 279 acres; Item 3, Mechanical Slash Treatment 588 acres, equipment to be used shall have a powe driven rotary head with capabilities of chopping, chewing or grinding wood fiber up to and including seven inches in diameter and also be able to maneuver within tree spacing of 16 to 18 feet without damage to the leave trees. This proposed procurement is totally set-aside for small business/labor surplus area concerns. (062)
