The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Detachment, Long Beach intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Engineering/Documentation Systems, Inc. for a six month extension and level-of-effort increase under contract N00123-91-D-0723. The period of performance for this extension/LOE increase is anticipated to continue through 30 September 1995, with a clean-up period through 31 December 1995. Engineering and technical services required during this period include centralized testing; reliability, availability, maintainability, and quality (RAM-Q) analysis; reliability centered maintenance analysis; quality evaluation; integrated logistics support; and information technology support. These services are to be performed on the following Marine Corps Program Department assets: mortars; artillary; small arms ammunition; infantry weapons; rockets; missile systems; gun systems; support vehicles; fixed wing aircraft; rotary aircraft; and communication equipment. A facility security clearance of SECRET is required. 27,239 direct labor hours are estimated for this effort.
