GOSS, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, 310-363-5077. A Request for proposal is planned to be released on or about 28 March 95 for a cafeteria service and a catering service for Los Angeles AFB in El Segundo, CA. The cafeteria concessionaire will prepare and dispense breakfast and lunch at the consolidated club at El Segundo. The catering service will provide on premise catering services including liquor sales at the Community Center at Ft. MacArthur in San Pedro and off-premise catering service at the consolidated club in El Segundo. The period of performance will be one year with four (4) one year options. A firm fixed price concessionaire contract is anticipated. The concessionaire contractor will be required to stock expendible supplies, including but not limited to salable merchandise, raw food supplies, paper supplies, cleaning, laundry, sanitation supplies, kitchen towels, scales knives, etc. All food shall be prepared at ''The Club'' facility for cafeteria services and the Community Center for catering services. The concessionaire contractor shall be required to provide party brochures containing information about catering services available. The concessionaire contractor shall also be required to provide price lists and menus. All prospective contractors must be experienced in food management for cafeteria services or catering services. This is a nonappropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. This purchase does not involve Federal Tax Dollars. This proposal shall have two (2) line items one for the cafeteria and one for catering. The potential bidder may bid on one or both line items. The Government reserves the right to award one or both line items to a single contractor or seperate contractors. Small businesses are encouraged to participate.
