STATEMENT OF INTEREST: USED PROCESS EQUIPMENT at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal (RMA), Commerce City, CO, will be available for sale, dismantlement and removal from the site this summer. Equipment includes a 30MM BTU submerged quench incinerator (SQI) now in operation. The SQI consists of a natural gas fired aqueous waste incinerator, five atomizing nozzles, quench tank, quench separator, venturi scrubber, packed bed scrubber, primary and secondary continuous emission monitoring system with seven analyzers each (oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, total hydrocarbons, and hydrochloric acid) and spare parts. Also available from another RMA project are; two 3.2MM BTU/Hr heat exchangers, two 150 ACFM blowers, one 12 inch diameter 42 foot long screw conveyor, 150 ACFM ammonia absorber, a 1100 CFM packed tower scrubber (ammonia), a 13000 CFM packed tower scrubber (ammonia), a 6M BTU/Hr hot oil heater, and misc pumps (1/4hp-30hp). A complete list of the process equipment is available upon written request. A walk-through to inspect the equipment at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal can be scheduled during March 20-31, 1995 upon written request. The written request for the walk-through must be received no later than March 20, 1995. A maximum of five people will be taken on each walk-through. RUST International, Inc. under contract to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting Statement of Interest for the sale and dismantlement of this equipment and removal from the site. Expressions of interest are due no later than March 20, 1995. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A request for proposal will be developed after the walk-through and will be sent to interested parties upon written request.
