W -- LEASE WITH OPTION TO PURCHASE TRACK MOUNTED AUGER DRILL RIG SOL RFP 5-6043 POC Donnarene M. Lewis, Contracting Officer, (303) 236-5900 x321 The U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division, has a requirement to lease with the option to purchase one (1) each, new track mounted auger drill rig. Because the specifications are voluminous the following requirements are general in nature. Capacity of top-head drive drill shall produce a minimum of 7,000 ft-lbs of torque or more. Pullback and penetration capabilities of 15,000 lbs or more from hydraulic feed and retract systems. The carrier shall be a tracked vehicle, referred to as an all-terrain vehicle. A 60-horsepower or more, water-cooled diesel engine power source is the only power option requirement for the drill. Delivery shall be F.O.B. destination, Oklahoma City, OK, Ninety (90) days after contract award. RFP 5-6043 will close on or about April 24, 1995. Prototypes shall not be accepted. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. See Note 1. (0065)
