The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake intends to procure one self contained portable conveyor system or brand name or equal Jackrabbit conveyor system. Cart P/N: JC-335 or equal; Elevator P/N: JJL-440 or equal. The system will be used to transport lightweight explosive waste and materials to a magnetic separator. The conveyor system will be used for temporary storage and to control the rate at which the material is transferred to the magnetic separator. The system consists of the following: Two (2) dump carts, Jackrabbit P/N JC-335 or equal with the following salient characteristics: Capacity-10-15 cubic yards; Unloading-Independent lift or use conveyor hydraulic system; Length-not greater than 200 inches from hitch; Height-direct dump into hopper; Weight-Not to exceed 3000 lbs.; Tires-Two(2) 12.5L . 16.1; Towing speed- at least 35mph. One (1) conveyor, Jackrabbit P/N JJL-440 or equal with the following salient characteristics: Drive /speed control- electric or hydrualic; Two belt hydraulic drive with separate speed control, drive and speed control may be hydraulicor electric. Belt width between 18 inches and 24 inches. Hydraulic drive- 440/220/or 110 electric motor 60 cycle ac.; Conveyor lift-Adjustable between 10 to 15 feet (while system is sitting on wheels); Lift height control-hydraulic or electric; Feed rate-100 feet per minute, minimum; Self contained hopper- minimum 6.2 cubic yards maximum 15 cubic yards; Lift part of device must have mechanical locks to hold in place. The transport devices (carts) must be compatible with the conveyor system. Specifications will be provided with the solicitation.
