65 -- INNUNOASSAY DIAGNOSTIC KITS. Sol DADA16-95-R-0018. Tripler Army Medical Center, HI intends to procure various reagents and chemicals to be utilized on the Technicon Immunoassay System, manufactured by Miles Incorporated, Diagnostic Division on a Sole Source Basis. The equipment shall have the following features: Random Access capabilities; on board refrigerated storage of reagents with automated inventory; instrument samples from primary clot tube and has Bar Code capabilities; little or no maintenance required; require minimal operator intervention. All diagnostic kits shall be FDA approved. A firm-fixed priced requirement type contract is anticipated with a Base and three (3) option years. Solicitation DADA16-95-R-0018 to be issued o/a 27 Mar 1995 and to close o/a 27 April 1995. All responsible sources will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. Any such solicitation will be issued to Miles, Incorporated and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. Interested parties shall submit pricing information and technical capabilities to the above address within 15 days of publication of this notice in the CBD.
