Cultural Resource Survey to locate and document archaeological and historical sites. The contract requires background cultural resources records search; systematic pedestrian surveys; artifacts and materials recovered during survey be cleaned, cataloged, evaluated and submitted for curation; prepared reports to include record of location and significance of all prehistoric and historic sites discovered; and the locations of all sites discovered be indicated on USGS topographic maps. All areas are located within the boundaries of the Ouachita National Forest, in various counties of Arkansas and Oklahoma. This solicitation is for a requirements contract with a base year and two renewal option years. Each contract period will be for one year from date of award or renewal option date. A delivery order will be issued for all work required under this contract. Estimated quantities are: Survey/Records check, 10,000 acres; linear survey, 25 miles; management summaries, 8; and final reports 4.
