The Department of Housing and Urban Development intends to extend Contract HC-12644 with Data Prompt, Inc., Silver Spring, MD for thirty-six (36) months. Uninterrupted automated financial management and accounting services for HUD's portfolio of defaulted Multifamily Mortgage Notes is required to allow for the development and implementation of a new mortgage note servicing system being procured through full/open competitive procedures. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Department believes that only one source, the incumbent contractor, who possesses the extensively modified software system necessary to meet the requirements of the existing system, is able to provide quality services during this interim period with full system implementation and without interruption. This is not a formal solicitation, but an effort to determine potential interest and the availability of qualified and responsible organizations who may be able to meet this requirement. The Government does not require individual acknowledgement by potential respondents. However, concerns that respond to this notice should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to the Contracting Officer at the address above not later than 45 days from the date of this publication.
