COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 9,1995 PSA#1299U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of
Procurement and Contracts, Program Support Division (ACS), 451 7th
Street, SW, Room 5256, Washington, DC 20410-3000 D -- EXTENSION OF MULTIFAMILY PROPERTY ACCOUNTING AND SERVICING SYSTEM
DUE 042495 POC George Chabot, Contract Specialist (202) 708-1585, x139;
Dolores Ammons-Barnett, Contracting Officer (202) 708-1585, x134. This
is to advise that the Department of Housing and Urban Development
intends to extend Contract HC-14488, with Data Prompt, Inc. (DPI), of
Silver Spring, Maryland, for a period not to exceed three years. An
extension in the contract term is required to allow for the
implementation of a new Multifamily Property Accounting and Servicing
System which operates within a HUD-controlled environment to be
procured under full and open competition. In accordance with FAR
6.302-1, the Department believes that only one source, the incumbent
contractor, who possesses the extensively modified software system
necessary to meet the requirements of multifamily property accounting
and servicing, is able to provide quality services during this period
with full system implementation and without interruption. This is not
a formal solicitation, but an effort to determine potential interest
and the availability of qualified and responsible organizations who may
be able to meet this requirement. The Government does not require
individual acknowledgement by potential respondents. However, concerns
that respond to this notice should furnish detailed data concerning
their capabilities to the Contracting Officer at the address above not
later than 45 days from the date of this publication. See Numbered
