K -- DEVELOPMENT OF ARINC 429 INTERFACE CARDS SOL DAAD05-95-R-0778 DUE 040395 POC Contract Specialist Kevin Clark (410) 278-4003 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army Aviation Technical Test Center has a requirement for Non-Recurring Engineering Services to manufacture three ARINC 429 Interface Cards along with an option to purchase thirty (30) additional Cards within one year after contract award. The Interface Cards are used with a GESPAC Model MPU-486 single board computer (SBC) residing in a GESPAC G96 bus backplane. They will be connected to an Active Matrix LCD which will display the information sent from the GESPAC Model MPU-486. There may be as many as 16 different displays attached through the SBC at a time. The display will be presenting graphically Flight Test data being collected by a Common Airborne Instrumentation System, reformatted by the GESPAC SBC and then sent to the displays via the ARINC 429 Interface Cards. Specifications of the Cards must be compliant with the ARINC 429-13 and ARINC 429-14, they must have a minimum of two channels that can communicate simultaneously because they must perform as a listener and a talker of ARINC bus traffic.
