Engineering, Development and Technical Support OMNIBUS effort in support of the Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate (S&TCD). Period of performance shall be one base year with four one-year options. Efforts shall include non-personal scientific, engineering, technical, operational, facility, equipment and inventory control support to be provided to S&TCD. S&TCD has the mission of providing research, development, engineering, design and technical operational support of terrestrial, space dependent and space based communications, command and control systems which are assigned to and supported by CECOM, Program Executive Officers (PEO's) and Program Manager's (PM's). It also includes all C3 items utilized in Army test beds or concept evaluation tests. C3 facilities are utilized as an overall system engineering support center to examine interface, integration and interoperability problems of end-items equipment in a simulated tactical environment.
