This contrat will supply New York State certified teachers to provide instructional program in reading, writing, G.E.D. program, and mathematics to students in the Gateway Job Corps program. Six teachers and one principal are to be provided for one hour (2:30pm to 3:30pm) weekdays during the academic year. Additionally, teachers will provide 1 and 1/2 hours per day of instruction during summer sessions. Additonally one teacher will be provided for two hours (6:30pm to 8:30pm) Monday through Thursday to provide additional tutoring. Educational instruction will be integrated with various other training, education, and counselling services provided to the students in the Gateway Job Corps Program. The contract will be for a base period plus up to four option years. This solicitation is a labor surplus area set-aside.
