PUMPS, POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT POC Contact Bill Hermann, (801)
524-5359, Contract Specialist, or Mike C. Ward, (801) 524-5248,
Contracting Officer The Bureau of Reclamation is involved with the
Colorado River Salinity Control Project in Paradox Valley, near
Naturita, Colorado. The project involves the injection by positive
displacement pumps of Paradox Valley Brine into a reservoir formation
approximately 15,000 feet below the ground surface. Reclamation is
requesting information from industry that can be evaluated for use in
specifying replacement pumps. Specifically, Reclamation is requesting
manufacturer's information on continuous duty, skid mounted, positive
displacement injection pumps. Each unit must continuously pump 100 gpm
of sour brine (260,000 mg/l TDS, H2S) at 5000 psi. The pumps shall
meet API 674, with few exceptions. The power end and wet end shall be
pressure lubricated. All wetted metal surfaces shall be INCONEL 825 or
an equivalent corrosive resistant material. The pumps shall be powered
by AC electric motors. Reclamation is considering the possible purchase
of 4 pumps, AC motors and starters, pulsations dampeners, and
associated electronic and mechanical monitoring equipment. We are
requesting manufacturer's data showing compliance with the stated
performance criteria and cost/price data be submitted by March 31,
1995, to the Contracting Officer in Reclamation's Salt Lake City, Utah,
office. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS nor will the Government
consider any if submitted. (0067) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0293 19950309\43-0007.SOL)
