The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is soliciting proposals for the establishment of a School-to-Work Information and Activities Learning Center. This Center shall be housed in Washington, DC and shall provide a resource center that will serve as the primary broker of both technical assistance to School-to-Work grantees and information collection and dissemination to educators, employers and other interested individuals and officials across the country. The period of performance shall be twelve (12) months from the date of execution. The procurement is offered on an unrestricted basis (full and open competition) and subject to FAR Clause 52.219-9 Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting Plan. Offerors must reserve at least 25% of the total contract amount to small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned small businesses, and small businesses. Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available up written request only, approximately 15 days after date of publication on a first come, first seved basis, while supply lasts. Telephone requests will not be honored. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The fee will not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the solicitation documents. Closing date for receipt of proposals is May 2, 1995, at 2:00 p.m. local time.
