Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to furnish and install a new 80' self supporting tower and concrete foundation at CG Station Manistee, in Manistee, MI. Included are these major items of work required by the Contractor: a) Install a new reinforced concrete foundation for the new 80' self supporting antenna tower; b) Install a new 4'' diameter underground galvanized rigid steel conduit; c) Furnish, assemble, and erect the new 80' self supporting antenna tower (including climbing ladder with safety climb equipment); d) Remove the existing tower and concrete tower foundation and dispose of debris from site. The small business size standard for this contract is 1799 and the average size standard is $7.0 million. This is an unrestricted procurement IAW Public Law 100-656. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% quaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
