Items shall be shipped to the Naval Historical Center, Detachment Boston. Required delivery is 30 Days ADC. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with either Precision Aircraft Machining Company or WESCO Aircraft Hardware Corporation under authority of FAR 6.302-1. These firms are considered the only supplier of these supplies because the equipment and subsystems must be compatible with the LCAC Water Wash System. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all proposals received within 45 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government WILL NOT PAY for information received. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 3728.
