The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for a base period and four (4) option periods for a total of five years for flexible medical fiberoptic scopes to standardize the types of scopes within the US Navy Surface Fleet. Each scope (sigmoidoscope, bronchoscope, gastroscope,and light source) must come with an appropriate set of instructions and cleaning components, and a durable reusable packing container for the storage and protection of the scopes. The scopes will be used in isolated medical departments aboard US Navy ships. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract. The minimum quantities are 8 sigmoidoscopes, 11 bronchoscopes, 8 gastroscopes and 8 light sources. The maximum quantities are 26 sigmoidoscopes, 34bronchoscopes, 26 gastroscopes and 26 light sources.
