The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to procure a hardware upgrade to an existing Silicon Graphics Challenge XL computer system. The required items are one 4x150MHz R4400 processor on a single board, 512 MB of high density DRAM featuring 4-way interleave with 2 IMB, a 2 GB SCSI-2 operating at 10 MHz using 16 bits differential disk, a SCSI BOX-2 main rack including P-S-HIO card and a 2 GB disk. Negotiations will be conducted only with Silicon Graphics distributors. Any one desiring to challenge this manufacturer sole source procurement must follow the directions in Note 22.
