70 -- ACQUISITION OF MS-DOS BASED CONVERSION SOFTWARE FOR AT&T (FORMERLY NCR) 2126, 2127, 9150 AND 9020 SYSTEMS SOL DECA01-CBD5-0002. POC Contracting Officer, F. Michele Templeman, (804)734-8666. The Defense Commissary Agency is seeking an off-the-shelf software product which will perform the following functions: Run on a MS-DOS workstation, transfer the Price Look Up (PLU) file (which is a standard AT&T/NCR utility) from the AT&T (NCR) models 2126, 2127, 9150 and 9020 to the MS-DOS workstation and create a flat ASCII file of the PLU data on disk; accept a flat ASCII file of price change records to each of the AT&T/NCR models 2126, 2127, 9150 and 9020. Vendors are requested to submit complete technical literature in an original form. At the present time there is no solicitation available for this requirement. The Government shall issue a new synopsis if and when a decision is made to acquire such software as stated. All information must be mailed. NO FAX responses will be accepted.
