The major items which may be performed include but are not limited to the following: 1. Remove, inspect and reinstall propeller shaft 2. Remove, inspect and reinstall propeller 3. Clean and inspect diesel fuel tanks 4. Renew corrosion preventive zinc anodes 5. Provide temporary logistics 6. Routine drydocking 7. Modify SSDG Grid Cooler Recesses 8. Install remote shutdowns for main engines 9. Clean CPO head, crew head and galley ventilation systems, etc. Vessel's homeport is Corpus Christi, TX. Vessel length is 75'' and barge length is 84' 0''. Vessel availability schedule is 10 July 1995 for 42 days. The place of performance is geographically restricted from Brownsville, TX to Carrabelle, FL via the Intra Coastal Waterway. There will be a non-refundable charge required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the US Coast Guard in the amount of $100.00 for requested U.S. Coast Guard specifications reference drawings. The proposed listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both large and small businesses. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 23 March 1995. All responsible sourses may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract.
