Management Agency has a requirement for: 1) the maintenance of
currently installed CentraScan Systems and associated communications
and operator interfaces; 2) Maintenance of currently installed ADT
intrusion detection controls, fire alarm controls, access control
system components, and subordinate electronics and sensors which form
integral subsystems of the ADT CentraScan system, and; 3) Service
response to maintenance within 4 hours. It is required that maintenance
personnel be familiar with ADT Centrascan 6000 system in both redundant
and non)redundant versions. Technical expertise is also required
relevant to the ADT Focus IDS Controls, ADT Unimode Fire Alarm Systems
and ADT Card Guard integrated Access Control Systems. Personnel shall
be dispatched from a facility which shall be manned and available to
receive service requests 24 hours a day. Maintenance technicians must
have access to ADT technical data which corresponds to all equipment
and systems currently installed. It is the Government's belief this
requirement can only be filled by the original equipment manufacturer
which is ADT. Potential sources must provide evidence of access to both
firmware and software upgrades to currently installed components. In
order to be considered a potential source, please provide information
such as evidence of current listing within the 1994 Underwriters
Laboratory Inc. Burglary Protection Directory under both categories
CVWX (Proprietary Alarm Systems) and CPVX (Central Station Service).
Evidence of personnel qualifications for maintenance services should be
provided in the form of manufacturer (ADT) certification of the
organizations employees. Evidence of the ability to program and modify
currently installed ADT IDS fire alarm and access control systems
should also be provided. Performance under this requirement will
involve access to classified material, work in secure areas or both.
All contractor personnel assigned to work under this requirement will
require a Top Secret Clearance based on a Single Scope Background
