The Dahlgren Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate sole source with Secur-Data Systems, Inc. of Frederick, MD for preventative and emergency remedial maintenance of cardreaders and a Cardkey Ultra Pass Redundant Host System and Terminals. These readers, system and terminal are part of a larger alarm configuration spread over two buildings and comprised of IDS controllers, motion detectors, BMS, wall vibration detectors, tamper boxes, and door monitors. All equipment with the exception of the cardreaders, host system and terminals will be maintained via exercising optional line items under the contract. The effort to maintain the cardreader, host systems and terminal is considered new additional work and will result in a modification to contract N60921-94-C-A118 which covers basewide preventative and emergency remedial maintenance.
