Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to utilize a
firm-fixed price contract to procure services from a qualified
contractor to provide the development and execution of a comprehensive
training course manual and training seminar option(s) that focuses on
investigative techniques and reporting procedures used by CPSC staff
field investigators to obtain data in specific injury or potential
injury incidents. This manual and optional training seminar option(s)
will instruct Commission investigators in the techniques used to
provide a thorough and comprehensive investigation required by
Commission staff on conducting product related epidemiologic
investigation reports. The basic period of performance will be from the
effective date of the contract through September 11, 1995 with two
options for up to five (5) training seminars for thirty (30) hours each
with approximately thirty (30) individuals trained at each training
seminar. At the option of the government, training may begin upon
receipt of the approved manual. Request for Proposal (RFP)
CPSC-P-95-1156 will be issued on or about April 7, 1995 with proposals
due on or about May 8, 1995. All responsible sources may submit a
proposal which shall be considered by the Government. No telephone
