Ward, (801) 524-5248, Contracting Officer The work is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Del Norte, Colorado, and involves the remediation of an EPA Superfund site resulting from a gold mining operation. The job site is in excess of 11,500 feet elevation. The work involves placing topsoil and revegetating the Cropsy waste pile footprint; excavating, transporting and placing the Beaver Mud Dump material; placing topsoil and revegetating the Beaver Mud Dump footprint; excavating, transporting and placing the Clay Fines stockpile material; excavating the Iowa adit; regrading the south and north mine pits with an impermeable cap and place topsoil and revegetate; and site collection and drainage features for overall sitewide storm water management.
