The project is general construction for the exterior canopy addition at the Bradley International Airport AMF, 10 Schoephoester Road, Windsor Locks CT 06199-0001. The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, services and equipment for an addition/extension to its exterior covered work are to the runway side (North) of the Facility. Currently a 3,660 square foot overhang attached to the existing structure of the building and supported by outbound columns covers approximately two thirds of the building's north face. This addition/extension is approximately 2,700 square feet and would be constructed independent of the existing building. The construction work includes but is not limited to concrete work, structural steel framing, roofing, GSB ceilings, site work including paving, plumbing, fire protection and electrical work. Completion is required within 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Offeror must have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a general contractor and primarily engaged in this line of work and, who, in addition, shall have satisfactorily completed at least three prior projects comparable in size and scope to the work required by this solicitation.
