AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a single solicitation
utilizing full and open competition and procedures for other than full
and open competition to acquire systems hardware maintenance
(preventive and corrective), software licensing, and support services
for the Scott Regional Processing Center (SRPC), Scott AFB IL and three
remote sites, including, Maxwell AFB AL, Andrews AFB VA, and Randolph
AFB TX. The SRPC is the operating system backbone that operationally
executes and runs all AMC and TRANSCOM transportation systems including
all AMC passenger reservation systems and cargo airlift systems
worldwide. All CONUS AF Non-command and Control (Non-C2) standard
systems and MAJCOM unique systems also reside on the SRPC. This
acquisition will provide system hardware maintenance, software
licensing and support services for the SRPC. On site hardware
maintenance will be required 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. On
site support services are required from 0730 - 1630 Monday through
Friday with on call support at all other times. Additionally, hardware
maintenance and software licensing will be provided at the three
remote sites. Hardware maintenance will be required on an on call
basis. An effectiveness level of 95 percent (99 percent during
crisis/exercise situations) must be maintained on all systems. The
scope of this contract also includes the possibility that at a future
date, support services may be required at Hurlburt Field FL and Langley
AFB VA. A fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract
is contemplated. Due to the proprietary nature of the software, the
software licensing and system support portions of the acquisition will
be restricted to performance by Honeywell Federal Systems Incorporated
(HFSI), as a prime or a subcontractor. The hardware maintenance portion
of this requirement will be acquired using competitive procedures. One
award, for the hardware maintenance, software licensing, and system
support, will be made to the technically acceptable low offeror.
Alternate proposals will not be solicited. The contractor will be
required to possess a TOP SECRET facility clearance at time of contract
award. The anticipated period of performance is 01 Oct 95 through 30
Sep 96 with four 1-year option periods. The RFP is anticipated to be
released on or about 25 Apr 95. Written requests for the solicitation

(SIC) for this acquisition is 7378 and the Small Business Size Standard
for this SIC code is $14.5 million. All interested offerors shall
indicate their business size (i.e., large, small or small
disadvantaged), their facsimile number, and ZIP PLUS FOUR code in their
written request for the RFP. Receipt of the RFP cannot be guaranteed if
the ZIP PLUS FOUR code is not provided. Verbal requests may not be
