Services are required to perform work associated with closure of up to
four 2000-gallon underground storage tanks located on a former U.S. Air
Force Station located near the city of Wadena, Wadena County,
Minnesota. Services include the tank and tank contents removal for two
tanks and the access and identification for up to two additional
tanks. Optional work items include, but are not limited to,
overexcavation, stockpiling of contaminated soils, additional backfill,
and tank contents, soil, and groundwater sampling and analysis. This
work is part of the Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP)
for Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS). This procurement is 100% set
aside for Small Business concerns. SIC Code - 8744 (size standard - 500
employees or less). For this procurement, commercial laboratories used
for any HTRW analysis must hold a current validation status from the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missouri River Division, Omaha, Nebraska.
The solicitation package for this project is expected to be available
approximately March 31, 1995, with bid opening on or about May 1, 1995.
