Pacific Northwest Laboratory is seeking sources with the expertise to train Navy employees on the maintenance and repair of Solar Saturn tubines at the Public Works Center, Naval Hospital, San Diego, California. In addition to training, the contractor will perform maintenance and repairs during the contract term and will replace several controls on the turbines. The underlying requirement of the contract will be training in all aspects of operation and maintenance of the turbines, including classroom and on-the-job training, so that Navy employees will become qualified to perform routine preventive maintenance, to troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform minor repairs. We anticipate that the RFP will be issued within the next 30 days and will be due approximately six weeks after the RFP is issued.
