Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, material, and perform all operations necessary to demolish and remove corrugated metal pipe culvert together with concrete endwalls, riprap, paved road and various associated structures, and installation of same with the exception that the new culverts will be concrete. The creek flowing through the culverts is a tidal creek. The contractor shall assure that water will be allowed to flow through the project site at all times during the performance of this project. Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. SIC CODE is 1611. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) conerns. Interested SDB concerns who wish to be one of the two respondents that cause the solicitation to be 100% set-aside for SDB concerns in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisitions Regulations should, as early as possible, but Not Later Than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform, bonding capacity, financial assets or line of credit, affirmative statement requesting set-aside action, an a positive statement of eligibility as an SDB. Letters from sureties and banks attesting to capability are required and must be current and not dated any earlier than 90 days from the date of your response. Also, it is requested that any interested SDB concerns indicate whether they are bidding as a prime contractor or a sub-contractor. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies are requested from all interested concerns. Only written requests for plans and specifications will be honored and only on a first-come first-served basis. Only 50 solicitation packages are available.
