CDR, CEC, USN. Elements of work include furnishing supervision,
equipment, materials, labor and transportation required to repair and
replace underground fuel storage tanks at the Naval Weapons Station,
Concord, CA. The project will include Demolition, removal of
underground fuel storage tanks, removal of contaminated soil,
instatllation of site work, installation of asphalt concrete and
concrete pavements, concrete tank slabs, above ground double contained
steel in steel fuel tanks (diesel), fuel oil piping, fuel gas piping,
ventilation, electrical and incidental related work. Tentative issue
date of solicitation 28 Mar 1995 with a bid opening date of 2 May 1995.
Only written request for plans and specifications will be honored.
Request shall include solicitation number, title, company name, address
telephone number, business size (i.e. large, small, small
disadvantaged). Requests may be submitted by FAX (510) 246-2433. Plans
and specification will be available on a ``first come, first served''
basis until supply is exhausted. This solicitation is issued as full
and open competition under the provisions of P.L. 100-656 Small
Business Demonstration Program. The SIC code is 1791. The related small
business standard is $7.0 million. The resulting contract will be a
lump sum firm fixed price contract. Estimated construction cost is
between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The contractor will have 315 days
