The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to procure and to negotiate on a full and open competition for a pulsed laser system that is flashlamped pumped, Q-switched, Nd-YAG laser with a frequency doubling and tripling of the fundamental frequency (1.06 microns). The fundamental output energy must be 850 milli Joule. The system must also have Dye laser front end with computer scanning and 0.04 cm to the minus 1 linewidth.
