Kam on a sole source basis to provide research coordination and documentation to improve neutron dosimetry measurements in commercial nuclear power plants. Tasks shall include documenting two LWR dosimetry benchmarks in readily understood reports so that persons can use them to validate their transport-calculation procedures; develop a users manual for the software used to interrogate the currently existing embrittlement database; coordinate the receipt of embrittlement data from Russia and other countries; coordination of dosimetry research with international research organizations in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Bulgaria and the Ukraine; review comments on the draft regulatory guide concerning fluence determinations; and letter reports--F.O.B. Destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland--The period of performance is from date of award through December 31, 1995--This is a sole source requirement because Dr. Kam is a physicist who has worked and supervised neutron reactor dosimetry measurements and calculations for twenty years. Dr. Kam is available to do this work in the time frame required. Dr. Kam is the only known source with the required expertise and the required time to perform this work--See Note 22. (0072)
