G -- PROVIDE TRANSITION ASSISTANCE TO SOLDIERS AND CIVILIANS AT VINT HILL FARMS STATION, WARRENTON, VA SOL DAAB11-95-R-1001 DUE 042595 POC Carole Brawner, Contract Specialist (703) 349-5623, Joann T. The Government requires the services of a Transition Center Manager, Transition Specialist and Family Services Specialist to staff the Army Community Services Transition Office located at Vint Hill Farms Station, Warrenton, VA. Vint Hill Farms Station was selected for base closure during BRAC '93. The function of the Transition Office staff is to provide a full range of transition services to soldiers and civilians in order that they receive timely and full assistance to include but not limited to relocation and counseling services, job search and educational workshops. The Transition Center Manager is required to possess a Master's Degree in Human Resources plus three years of experience since Sep 89, which was directly related to the functions of social services and transition assistance. The Transition Specialist is required to possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline plus one year of experience since Sep 89, which was directly related to the functions of social services and transition assistance. The Family Services Specialist is required to possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline plus two years of experience since Sep 89, which was directly related to the functions of social services and transition assistance. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract. The possibility of multiple awards exists. The base term of the contract is anticipated to be 3 Jul 95 through 30 Sep 95 and the contract includes two 12-month option periods. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business.
