NSN 1370-00-294-1279 fusee, backfiring, shall be in accordance with the latest revision of Forest service specification 5100-360D dated February 1995. First article samples arerequired. Fusees are classified as flammable solids. NSN 1370-01-009-2593, fusee, signaling shall be in accordance with the bureau of explosives association of American railroad specifications (beaars), ''specification for Red railway or Redhighway fusees dated January 1972. The fusee shall have A thirty minute burning time, Red flare color and one inch +/-1/8 inch in diameter. The fusee shall be attached to A wire stand. Unit of issue is BX. Destination delivery to various GSA supply depots. Contract period is October 1, 1995 or date of award, whichever is later, through September 30, 1997. See NOTE 12 trade agreements).
