The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to acquire four (4) Stamp Booklet Packaging Machines capable of performing the following functions: receive banded stamp booklets consisting of either 25 or 50 individual stamp booklets; wrap and seal the bundled stamp booklet packages in a tamper-resistant film; mark each wrapped package with a bar code label; consolidate and orientate each group of 300 booklets, wrap and mark each group with a bar code label; load 15 groups of booklets (3 across, 5 layers deep) into shipping cartons and apply two (2) bar coded labels to the finished cartons. The Stamp Booklet Packaging Machines shall be delivered, installed and tested at the BEP's Washington, DC facility.
