Any response must be received in writing within 15 calendar days from the published date of this notice. Concerns offering to furnish equivalent/equal equipment to the brand names listed above will be considered only if responding with clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their ability to meet all the requirements of this synopsis. Written responses shall include complete pricing information (purchase, maintenance, delivery, and installation). This is a Notification of Intent in accordance with FIRMR 201.39.501 and FAR 5.207 to acquire ADPE from an existing ADPE schedule contractor. No contract award will be made on the basis of any responses to this notice since the synopsis of an intent to place an order shall not be considered a solicitation document. No solicitation document exists, therefore, requests for such documents will be considered invalid responses. Written responses shall include GSA Contractor information if applicable, and if not, provide sufficient pricing information for the requested item numbers as listed in this synopsis to permit comparison with the Cabletron schedule number listed above. Oral communication is not acceptable and will not be honored. Statements must specifically identify the equipment to be provided, clearly stating the ability to meet the specific requirements, and clearly identifying the brand name, item number, terms and conditions, destination information, descriptive literature/technical information describing the items proposed, warranty and service information. Concerns offering to furnish equivalent/equal equiment and accessories to the brand name listed above will be considered only if responding with clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement of this synopsis. If no written responses are received which demonstrate a lower overall cost alternative to the government is available, a delivery order will be placed against the schedule contractor, Cabletron. However, if a response is received that meets the requirements, and analysis indicates issuing a solicitation would be more advantageous to the government, a formal solicitation will be issued and synopsized in the CBD.
