70 -- REPLICATE SOFTWARE DISKETTES TO SUPPORT THE U. S. ARMY RECRUITING COMMAND'S JOINT OPTICAL INFORMATION NETWORK (JOIN) PROGRAM SOL DABT60-95-R-0016 DUE 040795 POC Contract Specialist, Patricia Paige, (804) 878-4908 This contract is solely for use by the JOIN Program. The JOIN will be based on the Army's Electronic Information Delivery System (EIDS), and IBM PC AT clone using MS-DOS 3.3. The Government will furnish the Contractor with one (1) or more 3.5 inch dual-sided, double density master software diskette(s) and one (1) duplicate master diskette of each master diskette. The Contractor shall replicate and provide all required 3.5 inch diskettes with labels and sleeves. The Government will provide to the Contractor software diskette masters and back-up masters to be used to test the duplication process. The Contractor shall provide a test diskette (check disk) to the Government to ensure successful operation. Upon successful test of the test diskette, the Government will provide production orders. The Government will provide the Contractor with one (1) or more 3.5 inch dual sided, double density, master software diskette(s) and one (1) or more duplicated master diskette(s). The Contractor shall request access to the site from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) prior to going to the site. The Contractor shall notify the Government by telephone within one (1) work day whenever materials are inadequate or inappropriate for replication; provide replicated diskettes with program material on one or two sides as requested by the delivery order. The Contractor shall label each diskette with the information provided on the delivery order. The Contractor shall place replicated diskette in its own protective sleeve; (c) perform duplication test at a site selected by the Government. The site will be a U.S. Army Recruiting Command site in the Contractor's local area and (d) the Contractor shall retain the master diskette(s) and backup master diskette(s) in his facility until Government acceptance of the replicated diskettees or thirty (30) calendar days after shipment of replicated diskettes. The Contractor shall establish a complete quality control program to assure the requirements of the contract are satisfied, especially assuring all provided diskettes are completely and accurately replicated. The SIC Code for this acquisition is 5045. Written requests for solicitation are required. Refer to Request for Proposal Number DABT60-95-R-0016. No telephonic requests will be honored. Request for RFP must state that the vendor is not currently on the Consolidated List of Debarred, Suspended and Ineligible Contractors or otherwise ineligible to receive Government contracts.(0073)
