70 -- MODIFICATION OF AN EXISTING CONTRACT WITH STORAGE TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION SOL 50-YABC-2-66035-SJ POC Susan M. Jackson, 301/457-1804 The Bureau of the Census intends to modify an existing contract with Storage Technology Corp., 12510 Prosperity Drive, Silver Spring, MD, Contract No. 50-YABC-2-66035, to provide the hardware, software and maintenance (maintenance in accordance with existing contract terms and conditions): 1 each - 18 track SCSI Control Unit Model No. 4781-M20, with an option for 2 additional units throughout the life of the contract; 1 each - ACS System Library Software Model No. ACSLS 1190-U10. It is the Governments belief that Storage Technology Corp. is the only source that can provide the required hardware, software and maintenance. No Solicitation package exists. However, responsible sources having the ability to furnish the above items must submit to the address above clear and convincing evidence, including technical and pricing data within 45 days from the date of this notice, can meet the requirements of the government, and that it is advantageous for the government to consider such sources. If no written responses containing the above listed information are received, a contract modification will be negotiated with Storage Technology Corp.
