The USDA Forest Service intends to solicit proposals for log scaling services. The contractor shall scale loads of logs from timber sales in the California Region. Scaling shall be performed in California and in the Medford and Klamath Falls marketing areas of Oregon. Scaling shall be performed by actual measurement, or by weight. The solicitation will result in a basic ordering agreement. The performance period shall be from May 1, 1995 to April 30, 1996.
