WRIGHT PREPARATION AND PRESERVATION OF RO/RO DECKS AND CARGO HOLDS SOL DTMA92-95-B-50008 DUE 050495 POC Contracting Officer, Mr. Michael Meduski, (617)376-8459 Award of a firm fixed price contract is contemplated for preparation and preservation of interior cargo holds, Ro/Ro decks and associated spaces onboard the Ready Reserve Force (RRF) vessel S.S. WRIGHT. Work to be performed at the vessel's outport, Ft. McHenry, Baltimore, MD. Contractor shall degrease as necessary and mechanically prepare surfaces to SSPC-SP-3 or better (no grit, shot or water blast shall be allowed). Preservation shall be specified to MARAD paint guidelines. Basic award will be for 5 and 6 holds, with options for other holds. Any interested firm may request a copy of the solicitation and all responsible offerors may submit bids which shall be considered by the Agency. A charge of fifty dollars ($50.00) is required for the specification and attachments. Checks are to be made payable to ''American Overseas Marine Corp.'' and indicate ''Solicitation No. DTMA92-95-B-50008.'' The Maritime Administration requires that to be eligible for award under this solicitation offerors must provide representations and certifications as required by the solicitation.
