J -- GUARDRAIL COMMON SENSOR SYSTEM MAINTENANCE SUPPORT TO BE PERFORMED IN KOREA SOL DAHC90-95-R-0012 POC Philip Rasmussen, Contract Specialist, (703) 706-2691. The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command intends to issue a solicitation for services in the preparation for AN/USD-9B GUARDRAIL COMMON SENSOR (GR/CS) SYSTEM MAINTENANCE SUPPORT to be performed in Korea. The Field Service Representative (FSR) shall provide the following: (a) technical and hands-on assistance in the areas of preflighting and post flighting mission equipment, (b) assistance to unit maintenance personnel in performing fault isolation which exceeds the organic capabilities, (c) organizational support through direct support technical and hands-on assistance to ensure that preventive maintenance efforts are performed, (d) organizational support through depot level and hands-on assistance to isolate faults which exceed the unit's organic capability for the mission systems, subsystems, assemblies and subassemblies, (e) technical and hands-on assistance as required in the calibration and alignment of mission equipment, (f) technical and hands-on assistance that exceeds organic capabilities in the areas of testing and checking of repaired mission systems, subsystems, assemblies and subassemblies to assure and verify that optimum system performance has been restored to those failed items, and (g) GR/CS system ON-THE-JOB TRAINING to unit personnel on maintenance of mission systems, subsystems, assemblies, and subassemblies. The proposed FSR personnel must possess a TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WITH SPECIAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION and have access adjudication by contract start date 01 October 1995.
